Masari’s quiet power earns top advisory role

The appointment of Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari as Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Political and Other Matters has been described as a well-earned recognition of years of quiet but decisive influence within Nigeria’s political landscape.

An All Progressives Congress,APC chieftain, Engr. Abdullahi Garba Ramat, in a statement issued in Abuja, said the elevation goes beyond routine political patronage, reflecting President Tinubu’s deep trust in Masari’s judgment and strategic capacity.

According to Ramat, Masari’s new role underscores his proven ability to manage complex political realities with calmness, discretion, and insight.

“His new role clearly reflects the confidence President Tinubu has in his political judgment, his calm approach to complex issues, and his ability to navigate Nigeria’s dynamic political landscape with wisdom and discretion,” he said.

Widely regarded within APC circles as a behind-the-scenes strategist, Masari has built a reputation for delivering results without seeking public attention, an approach Ramat said sets him apart in a political environment often driven by visibility and self-promotion.

“In a political space where many people seek attention and recognition, he stands out for a different reason. He is a strategist whose leadership is built on humility, sincerity, and loyalty,” Ramat noted.

Beyond politics, Ramat highlighted Masari’s personal impact, describing him as a mentor and benefactor who has consistently uplifted others without seeking recognition.

“I have never seen a man who lifts people the way he does. Many who once had little hope or opportunity today stand as confident and respected members of society because he believed in them,” he said, adding that such acts are carried out without expectation of reward.

Ramat also vouched for Masari’s integrity, describing him as a principled and trustworthy leader.

“In the years I have known him, I have never seen him betray the trust placed in him. His integrity is strong, his confidence inspiring, and his courage admirable,” he stated.

He added that Masari approaches every responsibility with seriousness and a commitment to due process and results.

“Whenever responsibility is placed on him, he pursues it with focus and a relentless commitment to delivering results, always within the bounds of the law,” he said.

Ramat further linked the appointment to the broader need for stability within the political system as the country gradually looks ahead to the 2027 elections.

“It is reassuring to know that within the inner circle of President Tinubu are leaders whose loyalty, wisdom, and strategic thinking remain steady and dependable,” he added.

He maintained that the elevation is a recognition of a legacy built on quiet service, loyalty, and influence.

“The elevation is much more than a promotion. It is a recognition of a man whose quiet strength and dedication have helped strengthen political stability while positively shaping many lives,” Ramat said.

While congratulating Masari, Ramat noted that his leadership continues to inspire confidence among party faithful and associates.

“For many of us, he is not only a political figure,he is a mentor, a guide, and someone whose kindness and leadership have changed our lives,” he added.
