The President of Belemaoil Group, Tein Jack-Rich, has held high-level discussions with veteran political strategist Roger Stone at Mar-a-Lago, focusing on expanding trade relations between the United States and Nigeria.
Jack-Rich, who described the meeting as productive, said the engagement centred on strengthening commercial ties and unlocking investment opportunities beneficial to both countries.
He noted that promoting Nigeria and advancing bilateral trade remains a “vital call to action” for mutual economic growth.
The Belemaoil president said the visit, his third to the Florida estate since 2024, offered an opportunity for “meaningful conversations” in what he characterised as an atmosphere of “genuine friendship and respect.”
Stone, a longtime ally of U.S. President Donald Trump, has remained influential within Trump’s political circle.
Both men, according to Jack-Rich, aligned on the need to prioritise national development through stronger economic cooperation.
Jack-Rich, who leads one of Nigeria’s prominent indigenous energy firms, has consistently advocated deeper U.S.–Africa economic engagement, particularly across energy, agriculture, and infrastructure sectors.
Neither Stone nor representatives of Trump have publicly commented on the meeting.
The talks come amid renewed signals from Washington and Abuja indicating growing interest in strengthening bilateral trade frameworks ahead of 2027.
