The exercise, conducted in collaboration with the Ekiti State Fire Service, involved personnel from key departments including culinary, food and beverages, security and maintenance.
Officials of the fire service led participants through practical sessions on fire prevention, hazard identification and emergency response, with emphasis on common risks such as electrical faults, gas leaks and human error.
The training also featured hands-on use of firefighting equipment and guidance on evacuation procedures.
Management of the resort said the initiative underscores its commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of guests and staff, while maintaining high standards in hospitality service delivery.
