IBPLC restates commitment to responsive drinking

ASABA – International Breweries Plc (IBPLC) has reaffirmed it’s commitment to safe and responsible drinking with clear messaging restricting consumption of Budweiser Royale, it’s new beer brand to adults aged 18 and above.

The firm restated the commitment in Asaba, Delta state capital city where Eastern consumers were introduced to a feast on the new brand.

Nick Kade, Managing Director, IBPLC noted, “The East is a market that truly appreciates quality and success. With Budweiser Royale, we are bringing a product that matches the ambition and lifestyle of our consumers here.”

On the new product, the firm noted on its commitment to responsible and smart drinking, “All messaging and activities are strictly for adults aged 18 and above.

“As part of this commitment, IBPLC has a voluntary guidance labelling across its portfolio, providing clear messages on moderation, legal drinking age, and health guidance, helping consumers make informed choices and promoting safe, responsible enjoyment.”

The large turnout of beer lovers across Eastern Nigeria who thronged the event shared satisfaction on the taste of Budweiser Royale, describing it as “smooth, tender, slick and satisfying.”

The event attracted dignitaries including traditional rulers, distributors, government functionaries, entertainment heavyweights and top influencers.
