Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has been honoured with the Infrastructure Governor of the Year Award by the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) in recognition of his administration’s strides in urban renewal and development.

The award was presented at the second edition of the BON awards ceremony held at the NAF Conference Centre in Abuja.

According to a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, the organisation acknowledged the state’s unprecedented and transformative achievements in infrastructure under Lawal’s leadership.

The statement noted that BON’s recognition extends beyond the broadcasting industry, celebrating excellence in governance and impactful development initiatives across sectors.

It further highlighted that the award reflects the governor’s commitment to improving infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for residents through ongoing urban renewal projects in Zamfara State.
