Global technology leader, HP Inc. (NYSE: HPQ) has introduced intelligent devices, designed to make work more seamless across devices and spaces.
Powered by HP IQ, HP is bringing local, on-device intelligence and proximity-based connectivity together with enterprise manageability to unlock new levels of employee productivity and collaboration across select HP AI PCs and workplace devices.
The HP IQ which was introduced at the Imagine 2026 event is designed to enable intelligent workflows that reduce digital friction, helping employees to stay productive and teams to collaborate.
According to President of HP’s Technology & Innovation Organization, Tuan Tran, said: “HP’s vision for the future of work is a connected, intelligent ecosystem that helps work flow across devices, spaces, and the moments in between.
“HP IQ is how we connect those experiences, reducing digital friction for employees while fitting into the environmentsITalready manages, so organizations can bring these experiencesto life with confidence”, Tran said.
Debuting on the next generation of HP EliteBook X G2 PCs, HP IQ will offer features such as Ask IQ for contextual answers, Analyze for file insights, Notes and Knowledge for organized records, and Meeting Agent for effortless note-taking.
The firm also introduced HP NearSense, a spatial intelligence technology that enables secure, real-time sharing and simplified collaboration across PCs, conferencing solutions, printers, and peripherals.
Built on a 20B-parameter local model, HP IQ prioritizes security by keeping sensitive data on-device while integrating with the HP Workforce Experience Platform to give CIOs centralized visibility and governance.
Early access begins in spring 2026, with broader rollout across HP’s portfolio planned for later in the year.
According to the HP 2025 Work Relationship Index, access to the right tools and technology is a key enabler of the employee experience – in fact, the more frequently knowledge workers use AI, the better their relationship with work becomes.
