Non-governmental organisation, C-Sagas Charity Foundation, has called for expanded access to tertiary education across the country to nurture a new generation of leaders capable of transforming their communities and the nation.
The foundation made the call after awarding scholarships and bursaries to hundreds of students following its 2026 tertiary education screening exercise held at the Ebonyi State College of Education, Ikwo.
According to the foundation, 20 students emerged as top performers and were each awarded N1 million scholarships, while 170 additional students received bursary payments to support their academic pursuits.
Founder of the foundation and CEO of C-Sagas Group, Christian Asaga Nwali, described the initiative as a reflection of the organisation’s commitment to investing in human capital and empowering the next generation.
Addressing the scholarship recipients, Nwali commended their hard work and resilience, urging them to uphold values of integrity, excellence, and service as ambassadors of the foundation.
He emphasised that their success in the rigorous screening examination was well-earned and a sign of their potential to become future leaders.
He also encouraged candidates who were not selected to remain hopeful, noting that the foundation remains committed to creating more opportunities for young people.
The foundation acknowledged the contributions of its leadership, staff, and volunteers, as well as key supporters including David Umahi and Francis Nwifuru, whose support has strengthened educational development efforts in Ebonyi State.
