Former General Superintendent, GS, of Assemblies of God, Nigeria, Rev. Chidi Okoroafor, will headline the public presentation of two books by prolific Christian literature author, Precious Okolobo.
The books, “Take My Boss; Give me Nehemiah” and “No 23” will be presented on April 19, 2026. Okoroafor, who wrote the foreword to the book on Psalm 23, will also be the guest minister at the event.
On the other hand, the foreword to the book on leadership was written by the GS of Assemblies of God Nigeria, Rev Abel Amadi. “The world, especially Nigeria, is in need of leadership – leadership that is rooted in righteousness, free of corruption, and transformational enough, not just to actualise vision, but to give hope of greatness to the country as a whole and to every single individual that lives in it,” Amadi said.
“These works are an external expression of an internal impression on the urgent needs of society today,” Okolobo said. “The lessons from Nehemiah’s achievements point us in the right direction towards good leadership, while there is something for everyone in the expose on Psalm 23 — for the first-time reader to the seeker of the deep truths in David’s mind when he wrote what has turned out to be the sweetest psalm.”
President of the Association of Nigerian Christian Authors and Publishers Wole Adedoyin welcomed the books as “significant contributions to the pursuit of devotion and service to God.”
The books discuss effective leadership in spiritual and secular settings and Psalm 23, arguably the most popular psalm in the Bible.
