LAGOS — It was an atmosphere of celebration, music and high expectations as leading gospel music label, EeZee Conceptz Global, officially unveiled its newest signee, Uche Okereke, at a colourful ceremony in Lagos.

The event, which drew industry stakeholders, gospel ministers, fans and well-wishers, marked a significant milestone in the career of the fast-rising artiste, whose entry into the label was greeted with cheers and excitement.

Uche Okereke, visibly overwhelmed by the reception, was ushered onto the stage to thunderous applause, signalling what many described as the beginning of a new chapter not only for the singer but also for the gospel music scene.

Speaking at the unveiling, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the label, Dr. Ezekiel Thankgod, popularly known as Dr EeZee formally welcomed the artist into the label, describing her as “a vessel of grace with a distinct sound and a divine assignment.”

According to him, the label remains committed to discovering and nurturing talents whose music carries Carey’s both spiritual depth and global appeal.

“We don’t just sign artists, we partner with purpose. Uche represents everything EeZee Conceptz Global stands for — excellence, energy,hunger, spirituality, authenticity and a genuine calling to impact lives through music,” he said.

He further noted that Uche’s vocal strength, lyrical depth and consistency set her apart, adding that the label is confident she would become a major voice in contemporary gospel music.

Dr EeZee also reiterated in his words that “God has too many gifted children and cannot run out of options. It is a privilege to be called into service and to bless lives. We must all stay humble.”

Dr EeZee assured the new signee of the label’s full support, stressing that the organisation would provide the structure, exposure and resources needed to elevate her ministry and career.

“As a label, we are committed to your growth. We will invest in your sound, your brand, and your vision. The world will hear your voice, and more importantly, they will feel the message behind it,” he added.

In a symbolic gesture underscoring the label’s confidence in her, a car and a 5million naira sign up fee, was presented to Uche Okereke at the event, drawing loud cheers from the audience. Members of her team were not left out, as they also received cash gifts in appreciation of their role in her journey.

An emotional Uche Okereke, in her acceptance remarks, expressed deep gratitude to the label’s leadership, her team, and supporters who have stood by her over the years.

“More than business and transactions ,music ministry is a calling and an assignment being amplified. I am grateful for this opportunity and for the trust the label has placed in me. I promise to remain true to the message and to give my best in service to God and humanity,” she said.

The unveiling ceremony featured live performances, praise sessions, prayers and word session by Dr Pastor Akin Akinpelu and goodwill messages from colleagues within the gospel ministry ecosystem many of whom described the signing as well-deserved.

The new signing further consolidates EeZee Conceptz Global’s position as a dominant force in Nigeria’s gospel music industry, with a reputation for grooming artistes who go on to achieve both local and international acclaim.
