The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Vice Chairman (North-West), Garba Datti Muhammad, has declared his support for former Kaduna State governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, as the party’s candidate for the Kaduna North Senatorial District.

The APC chieftain expressed confidence in Yero’s capacity to effectively represent the district at the National Assembly, noting that his track record as commissioner, deputy governor, and governor places him in a strong position for the role.
Datti also pledged to mobilise support for the party and its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections, assuring stakeholders of his commitment to ensuring victory across all levels in Kaduna State.
He commended Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, for endorsing Yero, describing the move as a step in the right direction.
According to him, Yero has remained loyal and dedicated since joining the APC, earning recognition as a formidable political figure within the party.
Datti further called on party members and supporters in Kaduna North and across the state to rally behind APC candidates during the forthcoming primaries and work towards securing success at the general elections.
