Celebration Church International (CCI) has announced plans to open a new campus in the Akpajo area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, as part of its ongoing expansion across Nigeria.
The church disclosed that the inaugural service for the new campus, CCI Akpajo, will hold on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Atwill Event Centre along the Elelenwo (Akpajo) axis.
In a statement, the church said the development is part of its broader mission to expand its reach and provide more access to its services.
“The launch marks another step in our mission to reach more people and extend our presence across communities,” the statement said.
Celebration Church International, founded in 2012 by Emmanuel Iren, currently operates multiple campuses within and outside Nigeria. In Port Harcourt, the church already runs services at its Elechi and Mgbuoba locations.
The Elechi campus, located on Olu Obasanjo Road, holds services on Sundays and midweek, while the Mgbuoba branch operates from the Grand Atlantis Centre along the NTA Road.
According to the statement, the new Akpajo campus is expected to serve residents within the Elelenwo axis and surrounding areas, providing additional access to worship and teaching activities.
“At the heart of this expansion is the mandate to make Christ known and build people in faith and truth,” the church stated.
The new campus will host regular Sunday services and is expected to focus on teaching and discipleship programmes.
Church officials said the inaugural service is open to members of the public.
