Founder of the Ekpen Eribo Foundation, Engr. Ikponmwosa Ekpen Eribo, has congratulated Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo on his emergence as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the forthcoming Egor Local Government chairmanship election.
In a statement made available to journalists, Engr. Eribo described the nomination as well-deserved, noting that it reflects Osaro Eribo’s leadership capacity, dedication to public service, and commitment to the development of Egor Local Government Area.
He observed that since assuming office as Acting Council Chairman, Osaro Eribo has recorded notable achievements, including improvements in infrastructure, enhanced administrative efficiency, and people-oriented initiatives that have positively impacted residents. According to him, these efforts have repositioned the local government for sustainable growth.
Commending his leadership style, Engr. Eribo said the candidate’s approach to governance—anchored on transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness—has restored public confidence and strengthened grassroots administration. He added that the APC’s decision to present him as its candidate reflects both his performance and the trust he has earned within the party and the community.
“The nomination of Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo is a clear affirmation of his achievements and the confidence reposed in him by both the party and the people,” he said, expressing optimism that the candidate would consolidate on existing gains if elected.
Engr. Eribo also called on party members, stakeholders, and the electorate in Egor to support the APC candidate in the upcoming polls, stressing the need for continuity in governance to sustain ongoing developmental projects.
He concluded by wishing Osaro Eribo a successful campaign and victory at the election, reaffirming his support for initiatives aimed at advancing the progress and prosperity of Egor Local Government Area.
