MARRAKECH, Morocco — Africa’s top leaders, entrepreneurs, and cultural icons are set to converge at the 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit 2026, scheduled for June 19–21 in Marrakech, Morocco.
Among the prominent figures to be honoured are Nigeria’s global music star Wizkid and South Africa’s rising music sensation Tyla, alongside influential policymakers, investors, diplomats, and business leaders from across the continent.
Project Director of the Davdan Peace and Advocacy Foundation, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe, disclosed that the summit aims to foster cross-border collaboration, explore investment opportunities, and celebrate African leadership excellence in areas including peacebuilding, youth empowerment, humanitarian service, diplomacy, innovation, and economic development.
“Being listed among the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa signifies leadership, credibility, continental relevance, and an enduring legacy that actively contributes to peace, unity, and sustainable development across Africa,” Amafibe said.
The summit’s program begins with guest arrivals on June 17, followed by a networking session on June 18. The main summit and exhibition will run from June 19, while the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa Honours ceremony is scheduled for June 20, celebrating individuals whose leadership has driven progress in governance, infrastructure, education, agriculture, and business.

According to Amafibe, the summit gained momentum following discussions at the 39th Ordinary Session of the African Union Heads of State and Government in Addis Ababa, reinforcing its relevance in shaping continental leadership, investment, and sustainable development.
