BOMADI — Constituents of Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency in Delta State have commended Nicholas Ebomo Mutu, the member representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, for what they described as his sustained delivery of infrastructure and empowerment programmes.

The constituents also pledged continued support for the lawmaker ahead of the 2027 general elections, noting that he has facilitated federal projects across communities within the constituency.

The commendation came on Monday during a consultation visit by Mutu and his entourage to Bomadi and Patani, headquarters of Bomadi and Patani Local Government Areas, respectively, as part of efforts to seek support for his re-election bid.

In Bomadi, leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) praised the lawmaker for infrastructure development and empowerment initiatives targeting youths and women.

The Executive Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Political Affairs, Hon. Deinghan Macauley, commended Mutu for what he described as consistent delivery of democratic dividends, expressing confidence in his return to the National Assembly.

Similarly, the APC Chairman in Bomadi Local Government Area, Mr. Perekeme Seleyeibo, lauded the lawmaker’s empowerment programmes and urged constituents to sustain their support.

Former Vice Chairperson of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Flora Bripu, called on women in the area to rally behind Mutu, describing him as a performing representative.

Other stakeholders, including community leaders and youth representatives, also expressed support for the lawmaker’s re-election.

In Patani, a similar reception greeted Mutu, as constituents reaffirmed their backing for his continued representation.

High Chief Godbless Omoni commended the lawmaker for facilitating federal projects in Patani and neighbouring communities, while the APC Chairman in Patani Local Government Area, Mr. Julius Oruma, assured that the party would provide a fair playing ground for all aspirants.

Hon. Brave Enodeh, Executive Assistant to the governor on Public and Private Properties, also acknowledged the visible impact of development projects across communities in Patani.

The Chairman of Patani Local Government Area, Hon. Isaac, urged residents to avoid inflammatory political rhetoric on social media and maintain peaceful engagement.

Speaking during the visit, Mutu thanked constituents for their support and warm reception, reaffirming his commitment to effective representation.

“The purpose of my visit is to thank you for your continued support and to seek your votes to enable my return to the House of Representatives in 2027,” he said.

He pledged to sustain efforts toward attracting development projects and advancing the welfare of the constituency.

“I have demonstrated my commitment to the communities I represent, and I will continue to do so with even greater dedication,” Mutu added.
