Enugu West Senatorial District is set to stage a mega endorsement rally in what organisers describe as a unified show of support for President Bola Tinubu and Enugu State Governor, Dr Peter Mbah ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Media and Publicity Subcommittee, Hon. Emeka Aneke, on Wednesday, the organisers said the rally is aimed at mobilising political stakeholders, traditional rulers, youth groups and women associations across the district to publicly affirm their support for the two leaders.

The statement described the event as a strategic political gathering designed to demonstrate unity and confidence in the leadership of Tinubu and Mbah, noting that it would serve as a platform for grassroots voices to be heard.

According to the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Dr C.O.C. Egumgbe, the rally represents a defining moment for the district, saying it reflects a broad consensus for continuity, stability and development-driven leadership.

He said the endorsement goes beyond political symbolism, adding that it reflects consultations and agreement across different political and community structures in Enugu West.

The event is expected to feature goodwill messages from political leaders, members of the National Assembly, the Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly, traditional rulers and other stakeholders.

Governor Peter Mbah is also expected to deliver a keynote address, where he will highlight his administration’s development plans and ongoing projects across the state.

Organisers say the rally will end with a formal declaration of support for President Tinubu and Governor Mbah, describing it as a collective decision of the people of Enugu West.
