BURUTU — Three political support groups in Delta State—the One-On-One Progressive Crusaders Movement, the Political Emancipation Network, and God’s Anointed Support Group—alongside friends and political associates, have announced their decision to purchase the interest and nomination form for Thompson Robert Fuoye ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The groups disclosed this to journalists on Friday, stating that the move reflects their support for Fuoye, who is seeking to contest for the Burutu Federal Constituency seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Coordinator of the One-On-One Progressive Crusaders Movement, Comrade Caulmah E. David, said the decision underscores their commitment to supporting the aspirant’s bid for the House of Representatives.

He also noted that youths in the constituency are committed to sustaining the existing zoning arrangement between Burutu North and Burutu South regarding the House of Representatives seat.

According to him, adherence to the zoning understanding is important for political stability and mutual trust among stakeholders in the constituency.

“We, in collaboration with his friends and political associates, have volunteered to purchase the House of Representatives interest and nomination form for him to run for the Burutu Federal Constituency seat in 2027,” he said.

The groups expressed support for Fuoye’s candidacy, citing his engagement within the constituency and their belief in his capacity to represent the people.
