APC Chieftain in Delta State, Prince Urhorho Koyoyo, has commended the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, for his giant infrastructural stride in the state by approving over N400 billion to execute new projects.

In a statement, Koyoyo described the move as unprecedented in the history of Delta State.
He added that with the development, the governor is surely taking the state to the pinnacle of industrial and infrastructural level.

“This is remarkable and worth commending. It is a great move by the governor to move the state to higher heights. Moreover, the projects listed for execution are truly what will benefit the good people of Delta State,” he said.

Speaking further, Hon. Koyoyo noted that, the proposed approval for the construction of the Nigeria Police Special Protection Unit (SPU) Base and proposed construction of Police Divisional Headquarters in all 25 Local Government Areas, in anticipation of the Federal Government’s proposed policy on the establishment of State Police, would not only lead to improved security of lives and properties in the state, but a move that shows that the Governor is being proactive; visionary; intentional and progressive in leadership, character and person.

Koyoyo also lauded road projects being proposed for some places, especially in Ughelli South and Udu where there have been some complaints.

“This goes further to show the Governor is a listening leader. These projects will not only make life better and meaningful for the people of the state, they will boost economic growth and commerce, they will also accelerate the development Delta State has lacked for sometime now.”

He further thumbed up the quality of the jobs and projects being embarked upon by the administration.
While commending Governor Oborevwori on not just the quality and number of projects being executed, Koyoyo also mentioned the inclusive nature and spread of the projects,as no area has been left behind.
“Mr Governor has also shown that he is not tribalistic as no area is neglected. In less than three years of being in office, His Excellency has proven to be the real Mr Project. He has touched every sector and region of the state,” he said
