In a significant move to bolster primary education and empower the next generation, Odunola Abayomi, through the Giving Back Initiative By Odunola, successfully hosted the Educational Outreach 2026.
The event, held in collaboration with the Dave Care & Shelter Foundation, took place on March 2nd, 2026, at the Oworonshoki Group of Primary Schools in Lagos State.
Driven by the conviction that “A Brighter Tomorrow Starts in the Classroom,” the outreach targeted students from five different primary schools within the Oworonshoki community. The core highlight of the day was the distribution of essential mathematical sets to the pupils, ensuring they have the necessary instruments to excel in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects.
Odunola Abayomi, emphasized the importance of grassroots support for public education.
“Education is the greatest equalizer, but talent can only go so far without the right tools. By providing these mathematical sets, we aren’t just giving away stationery; we are investing in the precision, logic, and future careers of these children,” Abayomi stated.
The collaboration between the Giving Back Initiative and Dave Care & Shelter Foundation underscores a growing commitment among Nigerian philanthropists to address the practical needs of underserved students. Representatives from the beneficiary schools expressed deep gratitude, noting that the donation will help students participate fully in geometry and mathematics lessons.
The Educational Outreach 2026 serves as a call to action for other corporate bodies and well-meaning individuals to look toward local primary schools as a primary site for impactful social investment.
