Prominent Nigerian builder and real estate developer, Sir (Builder) Blessing Oghale Obomovo, has formally declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Obomovo, who hails from Otor-Owhe in Isoko North Local Government Area, made the declaration on Sunday in a personally signed statement.

He said his aspiration is driven by a strong desire to provide quality representation and deliver tangible development to the people of Isoko.

“My aspiration is anchored on a clear and practical vision captured in the OGHALEISOKO2027 Agenda — a people-driven framework built on accessible representation, strategic legislative engagement, infrastructure development, quality healthcare, economic empowerment, and above all, unity,” he stated.

Obomovo emphasised that effective representation must go beyond presence in Abuja.

“Representation must be more than presence in Abuja. It must be visible at home. It must be felt in the lives of the people. It must translate into measurable progress,” he added.

The award-winning builder, who is also a Knight of the Sacred Order of Saint Christopher (KSC), highlighted his commitment to youth empowerment, women development, and fostering unity across Isoko land.

He pledged to champion power infrastructure, industrial growth, improved healthcare and education, as well as skills development if elected.

Obomovo described his decision as a “call to collective action,” urging the people of Isoko to join him in rewriting the story of the constituency.

“Together, we can build a future that reflects the true potential of our people,” he said.

A devout Christian and successful entrepreneur, Obomovo is the CEO of Standout Properties Limited. He has received several national and international awards for excellence in real estate and community development.

He is married to Lady Bridget Obomovo from Aviara in Isoko South, and they are blessed with three children.

The declaration signals the beginning of active politicking ahead of the 2027 general elections in the Isoko Federal Constituency.
