…Appeals For inclusion of Abandoned Okwagbe – Otutuama Road Project
PRESIDENT General of Ughievwen Union, Ughelli South Local Government Area, Olorogun Prince A P Wheleke, has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and his Commissioner for Works (Urban), Comrade Reuben Izeze, for giving consideration to Ughievwen Kingdom and entire Ughelli South in the N400Billion new road projects approved by Delta State Government.
In the new approvals granted by the state governor, Ughievwen people are to benefit construction of Imode Streets roads, internal roads in Okwagbe and the major Udu-Ughievwen Road running from Express Junction to the ECN.
Addressing the development weekend when prominent sons and daughters of Ughievwen, including leaders in Delta Central Senatorial District visited his Otughievwen country home, Olorogun Wheleke, also the Vice Chairman, Urhobo President Generals Forum, noted, “We (Ughievwens) have never had it so good in Delta since the state’s creation.
“We acknowledge Governor Oborevwori’s developmental strides. We’re equally proud of our son in whom we’re well pleased, Comrade Rueben Izeze, Commissioner for Works (Urban), for diligent stewardship that endears him to the governor and for ensuring Ughievwen is justifiably carried along in the distribution of projects and programmes of the state.
“Our prayers for the Governor is God’s divine protection, grace and mercy to sustain his exemplary governance beyond 2027 as we fully assure Oborevwori of Ughievwen unwavering support to maintain his mandate come 2027.”
