A new digital platform, Luelink, is introducing a different approach to betting across Africa by allowing people to create and manage bets directly with friends or other users online.

The idea behind the platform comes from a common social experience shared by sports fans and friends. Whether in living rooms, bars, university hostels or group chats, people often debate the outcome of football matches and other competitions. These debates frequently turn into friendly bets.
