A Lagos High Court has issued an interim injunction restraining alleged trespassers from interfering with land belonging to Winhomes Estate Global Services Ltd, located at Okun-Ajah in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State.
The order, granted in respect of the disputed property measuring approximately 18.838 hectares, directs the named respondents and anyone acting on their behalf to refrain from trespassing on, entering, or interfering with the land pending the final determination of the case.
Court documents obtained by journalists on Monday confirm that the injunction recognises the ongoing legal dispute over the property and prohibits any party from tampering with it until the matter is resolved.
Reacting to the ruling, the Chief Executive Officer of Winhomes Estate Global Services Ltd, Stella Ifeoma Okengwu, described the decision as a crucial step in safeguarding the estate and protecting the investments of subscribers.
She expressed appreciation to subscribers who have remained patient and supportive throughout the legal proceedings, noting that their cooperation has strengthened the company’s position in the matter.
Okengwu reiterated the company’s commitment to resolving the dispute through the appropriate legal channels and urged all parties to respect the court’s order while the case is ongoing.
The matter remains before the court for further hearing and final determination.
