Amid the ongoing crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), indications have emerged that a prominent party member in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State, Oteghe Adams, may be considering leaving the party.

Adams, who was formerly a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), had joined the PDP alongside former governor Godwin Obaseki after he was denied a second-term ticket in the APC.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is being speculated as his possible next political platform.

Efforts to reach Adams for confirmation were unsuccessful, as he declined to comment on the reported move. However, a close associate indicated that he may be planning to join the ADC and could contest in the 2027 general elections.

Oredo Local Government Area, regarded as one of the most cosmopolitan in Edo State, remains politically competitive and open to multiple parties.

It was further gathered that Adams may seek the ADC ticket for either the Edo South Senatorial District or the Oredo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

Adams is known for his involvement in politics within Oredo and the Edo South Senatorial District, with observers awaiting his next political move in the coming days.
