The Delta State Chapter of the De Norsemen Kclub International (DNKI) has vehemently condemned the Palm Sunday killing in Jos, Plateau State, describing the act as barbaric, unacceptable.
In a strongly worded statement issued on Monday, Ayo Milan Emuobor, Chairperson of the DNKI Delta State Chapter, expressed deep shock and sadness over the incident.
“We unequivocally condemn the killing that took place in Jos. This act is barbaric, senseless, and has no place in any civilized society,” Emuobor stated.
He stressed that the DNKI as a body stands for discipline, brotherhood, community development, and the promotion of peace, and would never support or condone any form of violence or criminality.
He further called on security agencies to carry out a thorough and impartial investigation to bring the culprits to justice, irrespective of any perceived affiliation.
“We urge the authorities to fish out those responsible and ensure they face the full wrath of the law. Violence in any form must be condemned and punished,” he said.
The Delta State Chapter also extended its heartfelt condolences to the family of the victim and the people of Plateau State, praying for comfort and the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased.
