Senator Ede Dafinone has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, commending his leadership style and ongoing economic reforms.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the lawmaker described the president’s birthday as “not only a celebration of age but of a lifetime devoted to service, sacrifice, and the unwavering pursuit of a better Nigeria.” He added that Tinubu’s leadership “continues to inspire confidence and hope across the nation.”

Dafinone specifically lauded the administration’s economic policies, stating that “your bold and decisive economic policies have stabilised our economy and restored credibility to Nigeria’s foreign exchange regime.” He acknowledged the challenges involved, noting that “while the path of reform is never easy, your courage in taking necessary decisions has repositioned our nation for sustainable growth, improved investor confidence, and long-term prosperity.”

The senator also praised Tinubu’s leadership within the All Progressives Congress, highlighting the successful conduct of the party’s recent national convention held at Eagle Square. According to him, “the convention was a clear testament to your ability to unify, strengthen, and provide strategic direction for the party.”

He further commended the president’s leadership qualities, stating that “your resilience, political foresight, and commitment to progressive governance continue to serve as a guiding light for leaders across the continent.” At a critical time for the country, Dafinone said, “you have continued to demonstrate the capacity and resolve to steer Nigeria toward stability and renewed greatness.”

He concluded with prayers for the president, saying, “I celebrate you, Your Excellency, and pray that Almighty God grants you many more years in good health, wisdom, and strength to continue serving our dear nation.”
