The Aduda Mandate Forum (AMF) has welcomed former Senate Minority Leader, Senator Philip Aduda, following his decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the move as an opportunity to strengthen development efforts in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
In a statement issued by its Convener, Comrade Mark Oboh, the forum said Aduda’s alignment with the ruling party reflects a commitment to delivering enhanced representation and progress for residents of the nation’s capital.
“Senator Aduda has over the years demonstrated experience and concern for the welfare of the people,” the statement said. “His decision to join the APC marks a new chapter with potential benefits for the development of the FCT.”
The group noted that Aduda’s legislative experience and political influence could help attract greater opportunities and federal attention to Abuja and its surrounding communities.
The forum also highlighted that the move aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, focused on economic transformation, governance improvement, and sustainable development.
According to AMF, collaboration between Aduda and the APC-led administration presents a chance to strengthen political synergy and accelerate development initiatives in the territory.
“With Senator Aduda’s experience and the current momentum of development under the FCT administration, there is a clear opportunity for stronger collaboration that will benefit communities across the territory,” the forum added.
AMF reaffirmed its commitment to mobilizing grassroots support for Aduda and urged residents of the FCT to back his new political journey, expressing confidence that his leadership will contribute to the growth and prosperity of the capital city.
