….hails developmental impact

ABUJA – AHEAD of the 2027 general elections, Coalition of Civil Society Network, CCSN, Wednesday, expressed deep support for the re-election of the Member representing Gada and Goronyo Federal Constituency of Sokoto State, Hon. Bashir Gorau.

A statement signed by the National Coordinator, Comrade Muhammad Aminu, said the Coalition deemed it fit to endorse and support Hon Gorau based on his achievements and impact made in the constituency he was elected to represent, and the people are strongly behind him.

Aminu also asserted that the political tension in Gada and Goronyo is not good for the polity and negates democratic tenets, and described it as a desperate attempt to maintain control by treating human safety and democratic rights as disposable commodities, sacrificed on the altar of political survival.

He said: “However, the deep-seated support for Gorau suggests that the people of Gada and Goronyo prioritize regional growth over manufactured fear.

“In this battle of ideologies, the APC’s reliance on provocation only underscores their inability to compete with a record of service that the people believe is divinely ordained and earned through hard work.

“This shift toward thuggery is a direct, fearful response to the tangible developmental milestones achieved by Hon. Comrade Bashir Gorau. While Gorau has focused on transformative projects such as the Birjingo, Tuluttu road, and large-scale agricultural empowerment for thousands of farmers, thousands of students scholarships.”
