The former Commonwealth and British Light Heavyweight boxing champion, Peter Oboh, has said that it is time for Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky to make peace, as he is already a hero.

Acccording to Oboh, if Zelenskyy throws in the towel, he will still be seen as a hero to many over the war with the Russian federation which has lingered and waisted time and funds.

Peter Oboh said: “Billions of dollars have been wasted over this war. It is very sad to say that in a few days, it will be four whole years since this war started. A war Mr. Donald Trump, the United of America President, said should not have happened in the first place.

“Four years is long enough for an unborn baby from the father’s body to enter the mother’s body and be born and grow old enough to be able to call “Mama” and “Papa”.

“Four years is long enough for a fresher to get his or her first degree in any university worldwide. All this years thrown away in achieving nothing good on both sides.

“Death, destruction and pain plus regular fear and much sorrow was what was achieved on both sides – for Ukraine and Russia.

“My biggest fear is that the Ukraine leader Volodymyr Zelensky and Russia leader Valdimir Putin will not end up finding themselves on the wrong part of history of war like Benito Mussolini of Italy, and Adolf Hitler of Germany, who majority of the world now sees as evil warlords in world history.

“The truth is that it will be very wise to do things right, so we can be well remembered as a peacemakers in history after our departure.”
