HolyCross College of Theology will celebrate a historic milestone on Saturday, February 21, 2026, as it hosts its inaugural graduation ceremony for the institution’s first-ever graduating class.
Fifty-two graduates will receive their Certificate in Biblical Studies & Christian Ministry, marking the culmination of their theological formation and the beginning of their service as compassionate, community-focused leaders.
The ceremony’s keynote address will be delivered by Pastor Sola Odubowale, President of HolyCross College of Theology, a renowned author and theologian. Distinguished guests include Laurel Mayor Sir Keith Sydnor; His Eminence, VSE Olaitan Balogun, Head of Diocese, Celestial Church of Christ, USA National Diocese; and Evangelist Emmanuel Fienin.
Pastor Sola Odubowale said: “We are filled with immense pride and gratitude as we present our very first graduating class. This historic day is not just an end, but a beginning. These graduates embody our mission of compassionate leadership, and we are confident they will go on to serve our communities with wisdom, integrity, and grace.”
The ceremony which will take place at the Friendship Center, 9055 Maier Road, Laurel, Maryland, will include the conferring of degrees, special honours, and a charge to the graduating class.
