Renewable Energy: Firm unveils plan to tackle Nigeria’s power crisis

Arnold & Associates Group has officially launched its renewable energy arm, Arnold & Associates Energy Nigeria Limited, as part of a strategic push to deliver reliable and affordable solar power solutions amid Nigeria’s ongoing electricity supply challenges.

Announcing the development, the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, ESV Ekweoba Arnold Chukwuebuka, said the move was driven by the urgent need to address the country’s unreliable national grid, which continues to burden businesses with high operational costs and strain household budgets.

“This launch marks a major milestone in our expansion strategy,” Arnold stated. “We are committed to providing sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective solar energy alternatives for homes, corporate organisations, and public institutions.”

He highlighted that irregular power supply has become a major barrier to productivity and economic growth, adding that solar energy offers a cleaner, more dependable option that aligns with global trends toward renewable and environmentally friendly energy sources.

To strengthen its market entry, Arnold & Associates Energy Nigeria Limited has formed a strategic partnership with Global Energy Star Limited, a leading marketer of Lutian Solar products. The collaboration will enable the company to deliver certified solar technologies backed by comprehensive after-sales services, installation, maintenance, and technical advisory support nationwide.

“Our focus is on quality, reliability, and long-term performance,” Arnold explained. “We will ensure every solar system we install is supported by proper maintenance structures to guarantee durability and optimal output.”

The subsidiary operates from offices in Abuja, Asaba, and Awka, with nationwide delivery services available to customers.

Arnold & Associates reaffirmed its dedication to investing in Nigeria’s expanding renewable energy sector, positioning itself as a key player in the drive toward energy independence, sustainability, and improved access to power for all Nigerians.
