The Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (KADSUBEB) has partnered with the Caleb Danladi Foundation to train teachers across the state in modern instructional techniques, aiming to strengthen foundational learning in public primary schools.
The initiative aligns with Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to delivering quality and accessible education, equipping educators with learner-centred and innovative teaching methods to improve learning outcomes.
Speaking during a courtesy visit from the Foundation’s delegation, KADSUBEB Executive Chairman, Malam Mubarak Mohammed, reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to open and inclusive governance. He emphasised that improving education quality is a collective responsibility requiring strong collaboration between government and key stakeholders.
Mohammed expressed optimism that the partnership would complement ongoing reforms aimed at repositioning basic education in the state for better performance.
Founder of the Caleb Danladi Foundation, Capt. Caleb Danladi Bako, stated that the organisation is dedicated to teacher capacity building and ensuring that every child in Kaduna State has access to quality education. He noted that adopting modern teaching methods is essential to strengthening foundational skills and improving learning outcomes at the primary school level.
During the visit, the Foundation outlined proposed areas of collaboration, including the selection of pilot schools and teachers to ensure effective implementation of the training programme, while KADSUBEB’s facilitation role was also highlighted.
The partnership is expected to significantly enhance the quality of teaching and learning in public primary schools across Kaduna State, supporting the government’s ongoing education reform agenda.
