Join me in prayer over Middle East crisis, Apostle Peter Oboh tells Pastor Oyakhilome

Apostle Peter Oboh, the former Commonwealth and British Light Heavyweight boxing champion has urged Pastor Chris Oyakhilome to join him in praying for peace in the Middle East, as tesnions escalate in the region following the United States and Israel military actions in Iran.

According to Oboh, a boxer-turned cleric, “I am pleading with the reverend man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakilome. I know he has a good record as a man of God, with miracles across the world confirming him as a man of God.

“Please, join me and those lovers of peace in prayers for peace in the Middle East. We need to stand over this war situation, which America and Israel have joined hands in against Iran.

“Let us call a spade a spade. Every nation should have the legal right to equip themselves against future aggression. This is why the Bible makes it clear in the book of Ephesians 6: 12 that we must put on our spiritual armour of God to be able to protect ourselves against the evil plans of the devil.

“The Bible made it clear that the devil is real. To me, don’t be surprised by this. The devil is the one at work now, using our leaders on both sides. This season is meant to be a holy one.

“Some of the Christian faithful are already fasting towards the best day of the year for the Christians, which is Easter. Which is the resurrection of our lord Jesus.

“Also, the Muslims as well are in their 29 or 30 days fasting, which is called Ramadan, during which they are meant to try their best to avoid any wrong doing. The Muslims are always at their best at this season in their belief.

“This season is meant to be a season of love and care for one another – both for Christians and Muslims, and those still practising Judaism.

“Therefore, the great truth is that we must do something, which is to pray regularly over this issue, includuing over the Nation of Pakistan and Afghanistan, and the sad hunger problems in the South Sudan because of another war,” Peter Oboh said.
