The Managing Director, Shekinah British International School, Ihiagwa, Owerri West Council Area of Imo state, Dr. Obinna George Smart Unegbu, on Tuesday said the Imo state Governor, Hope Uzodinma is now repositioning and rebuilding the state for the future.

Unegbu spoke in a statement to newsmen in Owerri, about the Imo state at 50 golden jubilee celebration.

In his commendation, he said: “I, Chief Dr. Obinna George Smart Unegbu, Arịrị Erimba 1 of Ihiagwa Ancient Kingdom and Managing Director of Shekinah British International School, Ihiagwa, warmly felicitate with His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, and the good people of Imo State on the golden jubilee celebration of our dear state.”

“As an Imolite and educationist, Imo @ 50 holds deep meaning for me. It reflects our collective resilience, rich heritage, and unwavering hope for a greater tomorrow.

“I commend Governor Uzodimma for his leadership and sustained efforts in repositioning the state through infrastructure development, security enhancement, and reforms that inspire confidence in the future.

At 50, I urge fellow Imolites to renew our commitment to unity, peace, and excellence, especially in nurturing the next generation through quality education and community values. Together, we can build an Imo State that truly reflects the dreams of its founding fathers.”

He concluded by saying: “May the next decades usher in greater progress, prosperity, and pride for every Imolite.”
