The Housing Development Advocacy Network (HDAN), alongside key stakeholders in Nigeria’s housing and construction sector, has joined millions of Nigerians to celebrate the Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.
In a statement released on Monday, the Executive Director of HDAN, Festival Adebayo, described Minister Dangiwa as “amiable, excellent, innovative, and efficient,” noting that his leadership has brought renewed energy, clarity of vision, and practical reform to Nigeria’s housing sector.
According to the statement, the Minister’s commitment to affordable housing delivery, mortgage reform, private-sector collaboration, and institutional strengthening reflects a deep understanding of the housing challenges facing Nigerians and a strong resolve to address them sustainably.
“Minister Dangiwa has continued to demonstrate uncommon passion, openness to stakeholders, and innovative thinking in tackling Nigeria’s housing deficit. His approach to policy, collaboration, and execution has earned him respect across the sector,” the statement read.
HDAN further commended the Minister for fostering inclusive dialogue with industry players, professional bodies, developers, financiers, and civil society organisations, describing his leadership style as results-driven and people-centred.
As he marks a new age, HDAN offered prayers for divine guidance and strength.
“We pray that God blesses him with long life, sound health, and renewed strength to do even more for housing development, urban renewal, and the welfare of Nigerians,” the statement added.
The Network reaffirmed its readiness to continue partnering with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development in advancing policies, programmes, and advocacy efforts aimed at expanding access to decent, affordable, and sustainable housing across Nigeria.
