ABUJA – An oil and gas refining company, Tonwei Refineries Limited under the Tonwei Group of Companies, Tuesday, hailed the appointment of Hon Peretubo Peter Akpe as the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.

In a congratulatory message signed by the Chairman, Tonwei Group of Companies, Prince George Timi Tongubor, described the appointment as well deserved and divinely arranged.

Tongubor also said the newly appointed Deputy Governor is a man with pedigree and well qualified to support the State Governor.

He said: “The Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri’s appointment of his Chief of Staff, Dr Peretubo Peter Akpe as the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State is highly commendable.

“With this appointment of Dr Akpe, the prosperity agenda of the Diri-led administration will assume a new dimension.

“We pray God to grant Dr Akpe success and wisdom to work for the people of Bayelsa State and justify the trust of the Governor reposed in him.”

Meanwhile, the Tonwei Group of Companies boss said his company will work with the Bayelsa State government to drive sustainable investments that would change the narrative in the State.
