Federal Ministry assesses Induze Tech Foundation in Abuja

The Federal Ministry ofScience, Technology and Innovation (FMSTI) has commended Induze Tech Foundation for its growingrole in advancing technology education, innovation,and cybersecurity capacity in Nigeria, following anassessment and evaluation visit to the foundation’s headquarters in Abuja.

The delegation was led by Dr. Victor OlugbengaFadipe, Director of Science and Technology Promotion at the Ministry, who described the visit as part of the Ministry’s efforts to identify credible organisations driving innovation and youth-led technological development across the country.

During the meeting, Dr. Fadipe emphasized theimportance of teamwork, integrity, and strategiccollaboration, noting that sustainable national development can only beachieved when Nigeria fully embraces a science andtechnology–driven culture. He remarked that meaningful progress often begins with a single genuine institutional connection and grows through consistency and shared purpose.

The Founder of Induze Tech Foundation, Mr. Nwabueze Chilaka, formally introduced the organisation’s multidisciplinary team, highlighting its strong organisational structure and diverse expertise. Team members include Dorcas Edache – Operations Manager, Dr Amba Ekure – programs officer, Cletus Francis Udoh – Developer and Software lead, Engr Dennis Nwaogu – Technical lead,Victor Okoro – Head of Cybersecurity, Roseline Danjuma – Curriculum Developer, Chima – Gender Specialist, Amarachi okoro – Educational Psychologist.

Dr. Fadipe also facilitated inter-agency networking by introducing the Foundation to a Director within ascience and technology agency based in Zaria, KadunaState. He explained that successful engagement withone government commission often opens doors to collaboration with others, encouraging the Foundation to remain patient, united, and committed to excellence.

In his remarks, the Director expressed strong interestin working with young innovators and reflected on hisown academic journey, noting that leadership withinNigeria’s science and technology space is gradually evolving. While acknowledging long-standingchallenges in the sector, he affirmed that generational progress is steadily being made.

A key highlight of the visit was a discussion onTechnoExpo, a national science and technology exhibition. Dr. Fadipe proposed the inclusion of Induze Tech Foundation in future TechnoExpo activities, suggesting November 2026 as a more realistic timeline. He conflrmed that the Foundation could participate even if the event is hosted in Lagos andrequested comprehensive documentation of staff roles and designations. He also expressed particular interest in the Foundation’s cybersecurity capabilities.

On inter-ministerial collaboration, Dr. Fadipe stressedthe importance of building an inclusive scienceecosystem, flrmly stating that ethnicity or religion should never be a criterion in science and technology development. In response, Mr. Chilaka disclosed that representativesfrom the Federal Ministry of Education were scheduled to visit the Foundation the following day, further underscoringInduze Tech’s growing engagement with key government stakeholders.

The visit concluded with words of appreciation from the Induze Tech Foundation team, who described the Director’s engagement as invaluable and reaffirmedtheir commitment to sustained collaboration with the Ministry in advancing innovation, digital skills, andyouth empowerment in Nigeria.
