Brodaman Records launches in Nigeria, signs VJ Hyper

A new player has entered Nigeria’s creative scene as Brodaman Records, founded in October 2025 by CEO Ephraim Okah and his management team, sets out to redefine talent discovery and music production.

The label’s vision is to become a leading creative powerhouse that discovers, nurtures, and elevates exceptional musical talent—producing authentic, high-quality music that inspires audiences, shapes culture, and creates lasting impact both locally and globally. Its mission focuses on providing professional support, creative freedom, and strategic opportunities to artists, ensuring sustainable careers and meaningful contributions to the music industry.

Brodaman Records has already signed VJ Hyper as its flagship artist, with several other talents currently under development through its structured talent management program. The label says these artists are being groomed to be “stardom ready.”

The company outlined its core objectives, which include discovering and developing promising artists, funding and managing music production, promoting and marketing through radio, digital platforms, social media, press, and live performances, and ensuring distribution via streaming platforms and physical sales. It also aims to build strong artist brands and a recognizable label identity, protect artists’ rights through industry representation, and influence culture by shaping music trends and supporting creative expression.

With its ambitious vision and structured approach, Brodaman Records aims to position itself as a hub for creativity and innovation in Nigeria’s fast-growing entertainment industry.
