A political economist and public policy expert, Dr. Mahmoud Bala Alfa, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and the Deputy Governor, Salifu Joel Oyibo, on the completion of their second year in office.

In a goodwill message released to mark the anniversary, Dr. Alfa acknowledged the milestone as an important moment for reflection and continuity in governance. He noted that the past two years have demonstrated a measure of steadiness and commitment to public service under the current administration.

According to him, the Ododo-led government has recorded progress in key sectors of the state, including infrastructure development, education and social interventions targeted at women, youths and vulnerable groups. He also referenced efforts aimed at strengthening peace, unity and trust across Kogi State.

Dr. Alfa stated that leadership at this stage requires sustained focus and responsibility, adding that the coming years present an opportunity to deepen impact and consolidate gains made so far.

He wished the Governor and his Deputy continued success as they steer the affairs of the state, expressing hope that ongoing policies and programmes would translate into lasting improvements in the lives of the people of Kogi State.
