Pen Edge launches Fercullen Irish Whiskey in Lagos

Pen Edge Limited, the sole franchise holder and representative of Fercullen Irish Whiskey in Nigeria, has officially introduced the premium whiskey brand into the Nigerian market.

The launch took place at a colourful, star-studded event held at The Monarch, Lekki, Lagos, and attracted leading business executives, celebrities, whiskey enthusiasts, media personalities, and lifestyle influencers.

Speaking at the event, executives of Pen Edge Limited, Albert Precious and Bishop Enyeobi, said the entry of Fercullen Irish Whiskey into Nigeria aligns with the company’s commitment to attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) while meeting the growing demand among Nigerian consumers for authentic and exotic whiskey experiences.

The unveiling, themed “A Taste of Heritage, A Toast to the Future,” celebrated Irish tradition, heritage, and craftsmanship. The event was hosted by renowned media personality Frank Edoho and brought together key industry stakeholders, trade partners, and VIP guests.

Commenting on the brand’s expansion into West Africa, Ryan Stapleton, Head of Sales for Fercullen Irish Whiskey, expressed confidence in the Nigerian market.

“Nigeria is a vibrant, culturally rich market with a deep appreciation for quality and heritage. We are thrilled to introduce Fercullen to an audience that values authenticity and craftsmanship,” he said.

Guests at the event enjoyed an engaging entertainment lineup, featuring energetic old-school music performances by a live vocal group and a captivating dance display by the Marine Performance Academy.

Notable personalities in attendance included DJ Wanni & Handi, Denrele Edun, Uriel Oputa, Frank Edoho, and Elozonam Ogbolu, among others.

The launch positions Fercullen Irish Whiskey as a premium lifestyle brand within Nigeria’s rapidly growing spirits market, further expanding consumer choice in the high-end beverage segment.
