Ambassador Hon. Lilian Adoyi-Ofiebor has officially declared her intention to contest for the Otukpo-Ohimini Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 National Assembly elections under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform.

The announcement, widely shared across social media platforms and grassroots networks, marks the formal commencement of her campaign to represent the people of Otukpo and Ohimini in the Federal House of Representatives.

In her declaration message posted on her facebok profile, Amb. Hon. Lilian Adoyi-Ofiebor emphasized her deep roots in the constituency and outlined her vision for tackling key challenges facing residents, including youth unemployment, insecurity, disunity, limited access to quality healthcare and education, and the need for expanded opportunities for women and the girl child. Her campaign theme Olohi Ga Eh, reflects a commitment to unity, grassroot empowerment and inclusive progress.

The aspirant stated that her choice of the APC platform is strategic, aimed at harnessing the party’s broad governance structures and proven national reach to bring sustainable development to Otukpo-Ohimini. Her declaration has drawn responses from political supporters, community associations, and civic groups across Benue State, sparking renewed political engagement ahead of 2027.

Register, Transfer & Vote; In a parallel appeal to the electorate, Hon. Lilian Adoyi-Ofiebor has called on all qualified residents of Otukpo-Ohimini, whether at home or in the diaspora to take full advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Furthermore,She encouraged: Unregistered eligible voters to visit any INEC registration centre near them and complete their registration without delay. Indigenes currently registered elsewhere to apply for transfer of their voter registration cards to their respective polling units in Otukpo or Ohimini, ensuring they can participate fully in the 2027 elections. Every citizen to recognize that their voter card is power: the power to choose leaders, influence policy, shape the future and hold representatives accountable.

Amb. Hon. Lilian stated: “Your voice matters. Your vote matters. Do all you can to get registered at home or anywhere you are and use that power to decide the kind of future you want for Otukpo-Ohimini. Let no one take your voice.”
