In an industry often characterised by speed, hype and technical bravado, Faith Oloruntoba is charting a different path, one defined by clarity, usability and human-centred innovation.
In a statement, Faith with a background in product design, marketing and communication, revealed that she has built a leadership style rooted in integration and practical impact.
She noted that her experience in providing travel solutions, is guided by the principle that technology must genuinely reduce friction for users.
Her innovative approach ideas and approach has led earned her awards such as first prize winner, Leading Ladies Pitch Competition in 2025 and also the AmplifyHer Pitch Competition by Black Innovation Zone at the Collision Tech Conference, 2024.
Oloruntoba further refined her execution capabilities through accelerators such as the Black Founders Network, where her company, Groupbuyhive won the Top Three ventures award in the 2025 cohort, strengthening her ability to translate product vision into scalable solutions.
“I do not believe technology should intimidate people,” she said. “It should empower them quietly”, she added.
Her journey into innovation, however, predates her recognition in technology circles. Through Ivory Luxe Journeys, Oloruntoba curated group and corporate travel experiences that helped women and professionals step beyond familiar environments, building confidence, adaptability and decisiveness.
“Travel changes how you see yourself,” she explained. “When you navigate new places, you learn confidence and resilience’, she continued.
After coordinating over a thousand trips, she identified persistent inefficiencies in travel planning, including fragmented systems and tools that failed to support scale.
These experiences directly influenced her technology ventures, reinforcing her belief that travel and technology are deeply interconnected.
While awards from organisations such as Business Innovation award from Canada Vendors and the Women in Tech community highlight her technical leadership, Oloruntoba’s travel background continues to shape her philosophy that systems should serve people, not the other way around.
By blending experience with execution, Faith Oloruntoba has positioned herself as a multidimensional leader whose work is redefining how women approach product and technical leadership not by conforming to existing norms, but by reshaping them.
