A senatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ogun Central Senatorial District, Otunba Muraino Olatunji Banjoko, has pledged effective, people-oriented representation aimed at driving development and inclusive growth, if elected in the 2027 general election.
Banjoko made the pledge in Abeokuta, during a consultative meeting with party faithful, where he formally declared his intention to vie for the Ogun Central senatorial seat.
Speaking on his vision, the aspirant said his legislative agenda would be anchored on infrastructure development, empowerment programmes and human capital development.
He noted that beyond attracting physical projects to the district, his focus would be on empowering the people economically, improving access to social services and ensuring that Ogun Central fully benefits from federal government interventions.
“Our people deserve representation that delivers tangible results. Working in synergy with the executive, I am committed to facilitating unprecedented development in Ogun Central, ensuring that roads, schools, healthcare facilities and economic opportunities reach every community. My focus is on building people as much as building structures.”
He further assured the APC leadership and constituents that his representation would usher in a new era of purposeful and impactful legislation in the district.
Highlighting his record of community engagement and philanthropy, Banjoko promised to intensify youth and women empowerment initiatives, while championing policies that would promote sustainable development and long-term economic growth across the senatorial district.
