The Traditional Ruler of Aboh Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Obi Dr. Greg Nnamdi Oputa III, has commended Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for what he described as massive and impactful infrastructure development across the state.

The monarch made the remarks during his first public pronouncement in the new year, coming shortly after his one-year coronation anniversary. He noted that Governor Oborevwori has earned a prominent place in the historical development of Delta State, citing the execution of multi-billion-naira flyover and bridge projects across the state.

Obi Oputa III, who congratulated the governor on the milestones recorded so far by his administration, said he was particularly impressed by the uncommon speed at which the Aboh–Akaria concrete road project, including a 100-metre bridge across the Akiri River, is being executed.

“The speed with which the Aboh–Akaria concrete road project is being implemented is something else. The Governor is truly walking his talk. We are very happy with this rare show of love,” the monarch said.

He expressed optimism that, upon completion, the project would open up rural communities along the corridor to unprecedented transformation. According to him, the people of Aboh Kingdom and the entire Ndokwa East area have not had it this good in a long time.

The Aboh monarch further stated that the people of the kingdom would remain eternally grateful to Governor Oborevwori for his consistent show of goodwill, as demonstrated by the award and execution of various projects with direct impact on the lives of rural dwellers.

“In terms of execution of star projects, economic empowerment of the people, urban renewal, and general infrastructural development, Governor Oborevwori is first among equals, and we are proud of him,” he added.

Obi Oputa III also affirmed that the governor has raised the bar in governance, particularly in the prudent management of resources and the unparalleled execution of impactful projects. He noted that the administration’s focus on economic empowerment has helped to boost local economies across communities in the state.

According to the monarch, Governor Oborevwori’s outstanding performance in the effective administration of Delta State has endeared him to the people, explaining the widespread support being enjoyed by his government.
