..says it’ll enhance trade, boost economy

The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Enugu Chapter, has commended Gov. Peter Mbah and the people of Enugu State on the successful concession of Akanu Ibiam International Airport to Aero Alliance Nigeria Ltd.

In a statement signed by chairman of ANLCA, Hon. Chidi Fred Ezinwa and Secretary, Comrade Abugu Chinedu, highlighted that this move will reposition the airport to meet global standards, stimulate economic growth, and boost trade in the region.

They praised Mbah’s visionary leadership and expressed confidence that the concession will further establish Enugu as a key commercial and aviation hub in southeastern Nigeria.

“The concession at this critical time is a clear testament to the Governor’s visionary leadership, extensive networks, resilience, and strong collaboration with the Federal Government.

“ANLCA, Enugu Chapter, commends this bold step and expresses confidence that it will stimulate economic growth, enhance trade facilitation, and further strengthen Enugu State’s position as a major commercial and aviation hub in the region.

“Once again, congratulations to the Government and people of Enugu State on this remarkable milestone,” the statement reads.
