St.Gregory signs MoU on exchange program with US tech school

The old boys association of the prestigious St.Gregory’s college has concluded plans to embark on an exchange program with the United States based Portable Practical Educational Preparation PPEP.

Briefing newsmen on the development, publicity Secretary of the association, Comrade Ayodele Adewale noted that the move was basically to equip students and staff of the school to build capacity to compete globally.

He said, “The move for the exchange program was an initiative of one of our old boys of the class of 1966 -1970 set, Architects kwevi Quaye who is based in the US for over 50 years.”

Delighted on the initiative, Architects Quaye said, ” St.Gregory is the foundation of where I found myself in life. I am here to give back to the school we all love. The school has improved. When I was in school, we were about 200 students, now I gathered students are about 800.

“We are planning to do an exchange program between St.Gregory and Peptech a secondary school in arizona US. And train teachers from St.Gregory’s college . We are planning to sign a Memorandum of Understanding in this regards”

On his part, founder of the ,PPEP, in Azizona Dr. John Arnold , said “We had succeeded in Tanzania, Ethiopia and in Ghana. So we look forward to a relationship that would be productive for students, teachers and the administration in Nigeria.”

The President of the association Mr. Wale Kudaya thanked the representative of PEPTECH for there moves saying it would be of mutual benefit to both students and the entire staff of St. Gregory’s College.
