Rising Nigerian-UK star Noonzi is ready to close 2025 on a powerful note with the release of his brand-new single “Loving You,” scheduled to arrive on all platforms this Wednesday, December 11.
Known for blending Afropop energy with deep emotional storytelling, the singer-songwriter describes the forthcoming track as his most personal yet –a mature reflection on love, family, and fighting for what truly matters.
“Loving You’ came from a real place for me,Noonzi reveals. “I’m at a stage where love, family, and responsibility shape everything I do. The song captures the feeling of wanting to hold on to something pure, especially after everything life has thrown at me. It’s personal because it reflects how I love and how I fight for the people who matter.Raised in Nigeria with royal roots before relocating to the UK, Noonzi says his heritage remains the heartbeat of his music. “Being Nigerian is in my rhythm, my melodies, and my expression,” he shares. “Even when I’m making global music, that Nigerian honesty and simplicity in storytelling always comes through. ‘Loving You’ carries that same soul.
The single serves as the perfect introduction to his upcoming album, which he promises will feel both familiar and fresh. “Nigerian fans should expect something that sounds like home but still pushes forward,” he teases. “It blends Afropop, raw emotion, and energy. My roots show in the melodies and the writing – everything is intentional.
Asked why “Loving You” was chosen to lead the Album, Noonzi explains: “The song felt honest. It represents who I am right now – calmer, more mature, more intentional. If people are going to walk into this new chapter with me, this is the right door to open.Above all, he hopes the record wraps listeners in comfort. “I want people to feel loved, appreciated, and understood,” he says softly. “Whether they’re in love, healing, or just hopeful, I want the song to feel like a warm hug.
With “Loving You” only days away, Noonzi is already looking ahead. “More music, more energy, and visuals are coming fast,” he promises. “We’re planning performances and content that will pull fans deeper into this world.Mark your calendars December 11 is about to feel a whole lot sweeter.
