Lagos, Nigeria – Nigerian magician Faddothegreat has made history by breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest magic show by an individual, performing nonstop for 50 hours and surpassing the previous record of 30 hours 45 minutes held by UK magician Richard Smith.

The record-breaking performance took place at Pop Landmark, Victoria Island, where Faddothegreat delivered continuous illusions, mind-reading acts, and stage routines under strict Guinness supervision and constant monitoring by witnesses.

A first-class Civil Engineering graduate, Faddothegreat described the achievement as a combination of passion and national pride. “This was about proving Nigerian magic belongs on the world stage,” he said.

The feat not only highlights Faddothegreat’s endurance and skill but also shines a spotlight on Nigeria’s growing presence in the global entertainment and magic industry.
