The Celestial Church of Christ, Genesis Global Parish, Alakuko, is preparing to host its annual harvest celebration, scheduled for Friday, December 19, and Sunday, December 21, with organisers expecting a large turnout of worshippers and community members.

The event, themed “Harvest of New Dimension,” will feature extensive charity outreach, including the distribution of food items, household goods, and financial support to thousands of beneficiaries. According to the church leadership, this year’s programme will prioritise support for elderly residents, widows, and less privileged families in the community.

Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe, popularly known as Prophet Genesis and leader of the Genesis Global Parish, said more than 5,000 people are expected to receive empowerment packages during the harvest. The church will also distribute various household machines and other gift items as part of its annual giving tradition. Attendance is open to the public at no cost.

Organisers have also lined up musical presentations and other attractions for attendees as part of the celebration.
