Renowned Public Health Physician and humanitarian, Aisha Liman, has been bestowed with the prestigious 100 Global Impact Personalities Award and Africa Leadership Award by the Africa Intercontinental Network

The event, held in Abuja brought together esteemed dignitaries and industry leaders, recognized Dr. Liman’s outstanding contributions to global health, education, and community empowerment.

Other notable honorees, included Dr. Abubakar Rahmat Salihu and Tony Elumelu, among others.

Dr. Liman was inaugurated as one of the 50 Africa Intercontinental Personalities, a distinction acknowledging her commitment to driving positive change across the continent.

Dr. Liman’s impressive profile boasts a medical degree from the University of Maiduguri, a Master’s in Global Health Planning and Management from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and extensive experience working with organizations like Médecins Sans Frontières and the International Rescue Committee. Her dedication to healthcare equity, education, and women’s empowerment has earned her numerous accolades, including the Delta Omega Honorary Society of Public Health Award and the Leading Woman in Global Health Award.

In her acceptance speech, Dr. Liman stressed the importance of collective action in driving positive change, saying, “This recognition is not just a testament to my work, but to the tireless efforts of healthcare workers, educators, and community champions across Africa.”
