Abazee Productions maintains reputation at Wizkid’s Lagos G.O.A.T visual experience

Africa’s flagship festival, Futurefest, organizers of the Wizkid Greatest of All Time concert at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), recruited Abazee Productions, Nigeria’s leading film equipment rental company, to capture all the visuals at the Afrobeats superstar’s homecoming.

The man known as Ayodeji Balogun to family and close friends held 50,000 people spellbound for nearly two hours, performing all his hits from “Jaiye Jaiye” to chart-topper “Money Constant.” Other Afrobeats stars, Young Jonn and Tiwa Savage, joined him on stage to perform their collaborative hits “Cash Flow” and “Dis Love,” respectively. The Lagos crowd was thrilled as they experienced Wizkid like never before.

Futurefest created a spacious stage with screens across the venue so fans could see every moment onstage, complemented by pyrotechnics and lights. Abazee Productions captured the electrifying performances with cameramen filming the entertainers up close, as well as covering all areas of TBS from their film staging area.

Abayomi Olukanmi, CEO of Abazee Productions, said, “It’s only fitting that Africa’s biggest star gets the best film equipment to capture his performance. Wizkid came home, and Futurefest put this whole event together. They needed the best film equipment company in Nigeria, so they came to us—and we delivered, as usual.”

Abazee Productions is the film equipment rental company of choice for music videos, Nollywood epic films, fashion shows, award ceremonies, comedy shows, concerts, and even the Presidency in Nigeria. In 2025, they were hired by comedians AY and Pencil for their respective shows, AY Live and Pencil Unbroken; the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF); Afrobeats superstar Flavour for his new single The Eagle Has Landed; Nollywood director Daniel Etim-Effiong for his Netflix movie The Herd; Nollywood producer Iyabo Ojo for her movie Labake Olododo; and the Young Women’s Leadership Conference (YWLA) at Aso Rock Presidential Banquet Hall. They have also previously handled live broadcasts for several events at Aso Rock, including Nigeria’s Independence Day celebrations.
